GPS Bracelet Device for Personal Safety and Emergency Situations with Whatsapp Communication
This paper presents the design and implementation of a GPS bracelet device based on an AVR microcontroller with an integrated SIM card for LTE network access. The device is designed to send the GPS location to multiple WhatsApp emergency contacts upon pressing a button. The motivation for this project stems from the need for reliable and real-time location tracking for personal safety. The proposed system integrates hardware components and software algorithms to achieve accurate and timely location transmission. Experimental results demonstrate the device's effectiveness in urban environments, showcasing its potential for use in various personal safety applications. The contributions of this work include the development of a compact, low-cost GPS tracking solution with real-time communication capabilities.
