COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF SERVICE DOG TRAINING METHODS

The article provides information on various methods of training service dogs, as well as their comparative characteristics, which make it possible to determine the best one. The analysis of testing dogs for the formation of the necessary reactions and skills using three methods of training is carried out: mechanical, taste-sensitive and contrast. The assessment of the feed composition in the studied dogs is given. An analysis of the physiological characteristics of service dogs indicates that the respiratory rate and body temperature of bitches are higher, which has a significant impact on the process of special training, since they indicate the need for individualization of approaches depending on gender. It has been established that the cost of service dogs increases every year, so the cost of servicing 1 dog, starting in 2021, increased by 7227 rubles, and for the entire livestock by 78405 rubles.
