ANTHELMINTHIC DRUGS AND THEIR EFFECTIVENESS IN COMPLEX THERAPY OF PARASCARIDOSIS IN EQUINES

The presented study demonstrated the efficiency of both proposed methods of treating equine parascaridosis, however, the first method showed superiority in a number of criteria. Below are the main conclusions and recommendations. Before the start of therapy, Parascaris equorum eggs were detected using the helminthoovoscopic method, confirming the presence of parasitic invasion. As a result of the treatment, the first group of animals were completely cleared of parasites on the fourth day after treatment. In the second group, one animal retained a minor infection, which required additional intervention. Positive changes in the condition of animals in the first group occurred faster (approximately twice as fast) compared to the second group. It is recommended to use a scheme including the anthelmintic drug Eprimek, followed by vitamins (Vitaflesh) and probiotics (Ippolakt), which showed the greatest efficiency. Regular monitoring of animals after the end of the main course of treatment is required to confirm complete elimination of parasites. Given the possibility of individual reactions to treatment, it is important to individually select the dosage and regimen for taking drugs. The results of the study confirm the feasibility of using combination treatment methods and emphasize the importance of regular monitoring and control of treatment results.
