Affordable excellence: a meta-analysis on the efficacy of topical tranexamic acid in reducing blood loss in thoracolumbar spinal surgery
tTXA is effective in reducing blood loss and transfusion needs in thoracolumbar surgery, with minimal risk. Slightly increased operative time is clinically acceptable.
