A Practical Study on the Improvement of Course Teaching Based on the Evaluation Model of Course Objective Achievement
Accreditation of engineering education has emerged as a crucial initiative to elevate the quality of engineering education and bolster the international competitiveness of talent. Course objective attainment, a significant metric for assessing teaching quality, quantitatively evaluates whether students have met the intended learning objectives of the course. on recent years, the assessment model for assessing course objective attainment, grounded on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), has been extensively implemented, serving as a crucial framework for enhancing teaching quality and fostering continuous development. This work employs a quantitative data-driven methodology to confirm the efficacy of the course goal attainment model through a continuous improvement loop, offering a practical reference for the quantitative assessment of course design and objectives. The model not only reliably evaluates student learning effectiveness but also offers a scientific foundation for course design, teaching technique modification, and enhancement of course quality.
