IDENTIFIKASI FONEM KONSONAN DIALEK STANDAR SUMBAWA BESAR DALAM BAHASA SUMBAWA

The Sumbawa Besar dialect is the standard dialect of the Sumbawa language. The purpose of this study is to identify the consonant phonemes of the Sumbawa Besar dialect. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Lingual units in the form of phonemes are collected by utilizing literature studies, interview methods, listening, and taking notes. The data obtained are converted into phonetic transcription. Data analysis is carried out based on the intralingual equivalence method, which is comparing consonant sounds that are considered to differentiate meaning. To validate the data using triangulation techniques. Furthermore, the data analysis model uses interactive analysis. The data that was successfully found were sixteen consonant phonemes consisting of the phonemes: /b/, /c/, /d/, /g/, /h/, /j/, /k/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /p/, /r/, /s/, /t/, /w/, /y/. Meanwhile, 5 data were found that did not have the status of consonant phonemes in the form of sounds: /f/, /q/, /v/, /x/, and /z/.
