The digital economy enables the development of green logistics in the Yangtze River Delta region of China
With the rapid development of digital technology, the digital economy has become a key force driving the transformation and green development of regional logistics. The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most economically prosperous regions in China, and its logistics industry is in urgent need of green transformation. What role will the digital economy play in the development of green logistics in this region of China? In this paper, we collect data from 2011 to 2022 from a regional perspective and use a double fixed effects model and robustness tests to determine the impact of the digital economy on the development of green logistics in the Yangtze River Delta. The study concludes that the digital economy can significantly contribute to the development of green logistics in the region. It allows us to better respond to the challenges and opportunities brought about by digital transformation, thereby promoting sustainable economic growth and social progress. This conclusion remains valid after a series of robustness tests.
