Intelligent Generation of Qivadan Pattern Based on Parametric Modeling and its Application in Aging Rural Landscape
With the acceleration of the global aging process, the renovation of rural public space suitable for aging has become an important issue to improve the quality of life of the elderly. As a traditional Chinese architectural decoration element, Qiwadan pattern carries rich cultural value. However, its form, scale and material have not been optimized for the elderly group, which may have limitations in visual recognition, tactile safety and environmental adaptability. Based on the parametric design method, this study explores the application of Qiwadang pattern in the aging suitable rural public space, and uses Rhino + Grasshopper as a modeling tool to establish an intelligent generation and optimization model to improve its aging suitable performance.
