It talks about the changes in AI research in the field of finance from 1975 to March 2025. We picked 122 important articles from Web of Science database. The analysis was done with VOSviewer and Bibliometrix. The results of the analysis show that this research has a high academic impact. There are a total of 1,264 citations, with an average of 10.36 citations per article. The study found that China and the U.S. are ahead of the curve in using AI in finance. Asia is slowly becoming a major source of new ideas. Developing countries are also using AI to accelerate financial inclusion. The study also shows that it is supported by old financial theories. These theories can support putting new technologies into finance. New technologies like blockchain and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) allow different fields to start working together. They drive financial innovation. Risk modeling and market analytics have been the focus of research. This shows that these aspects are still critical in the ever-changing field of financial AI. Data-based analysis gives a useful view of where financial AI is heading. It identifies important players, emerging technologies, and also new research directions.

It talks about the changes in AI research in the field of finance from 1975 to March 2025. We picked 122 important articles from Web of Science database.
