Editorial Foreward
The new developments in the economic and political landscape at the planetary scale worry not only political decision-makers but also businesspeople and ordinary people alike. The world is shaken by military conflicts (the Ukraine war and, more recently, Israel’s army involvement against Iran), which can lead to bigger ones. Moreover, the economic decisions of the USA, such as differentiated tariffs, are likely to reshape international trade for many years to come. Despite all this, the scientific community, from all over the world, should remain united for a generous purpose: to advance human knowledge for the benefit of people and society. Therefore, we strongly support the publication of cutting-edge research papers, as well as practical problem-solving approaches, to provide our readers with a diverse range of content. Our current issue features articles from around the world, spanning Peru to Indonesia, Northern Europe to South Africa, and Ecuador to South Korea, tackling topics such as international economic relations, innovation and competitiveness, trust, uncertainty, and herd behaviour, as well as cryptocurrency and financial health.
