Influence of structural diversity in Co( <scp>ii</scp> )–oxamide complexes towards single molecule magnets and electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction

Three cobalt complexes of different nuclearity were synthesized using an oxamide ligand. Variable temperature magnetic moment measurement reveals complex 3 displays SMMs behaviour and a significantly lower Tafel slope of 73 mV dec −1 for the OER.

Abstract

Three cobalt complexes of different nuclearity were synthesized using an oxamide ligand. Variable temperature magnetic moment measurement reveals complex 3 displays SMMs behaviour and a significantly lower Tafel slope of 73 mV dec −1 for the OER.
