Public Policy Strategies for Enhancing Digital Technology Innovation and Supply Chain Resilience to Drive High-Quality Enterprise Development

Digital technology innovation has become a new engine for China’ s economic growth, and “strengthening the application of key digital technology innovation” is an important goal of enterprises. Based on the data of China’ s A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2022, this paper identifies digital patents to measure digital technology innovation through patent IPC classification number, and then defines and measures high-quality development of enterprises from four dimensions of high valuation, high efficiency, high industry status and sustainable development, so as to study the impact of digital technology innovation and high-quality development of enterprises and its internal mechanism. The results show that digital technology innovation can positively promote the high-quality development level of enterprises. Both endogeneity test and robustness test support this conclusion. Further analysis shows that the above role is more obvious in large enterprises, state-owned enterprises and enterprises with strong industry competition; In the mechanism test, digital technology innovation enables enterprises to reach diversified cooperation with upstream suppliers and downstream customers of the supply chain by reducing the overall concentration of the supply chain, supplier concentration and customer concentration, thus promoting high-quality development of enterprises. The research of this paper broadens the economic effect of micro-enterprises’ digital technology innovation, provides a reference for the government to formulate policies on digital technology innovation, and provides strategic enlightenment for enterprises to move forward to high-quality development.
