Uma revisão sistemática sobre a aprendizagem dos diferentes significados do conceito de fração
Teaching fractions and their meanings has been seen as a challenge for Basic Education. The concept of fraction involves the following meanings: part-whole, quotient, measurement, ratio, and operator, which, when well understood, contribute to the development of this concept. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze expectations regarding the teaching and learning of the meaning of fraction. Methodologically, this study consisted of a systematic review (PRISMA method), with a qualitative foundation and an exploratory approach, based on applied research on the teaching of the different meanings of fraction. The main results of the reading and analysis of the selected studies revealed a limited breadth in the presentation of methodological resources that address different concepts of fractions. Although all meanings of fraction were cited, the most commonly used and most well-known among teachers remains the part-whole meaning.
