Possibilities of using artificial intelligence in steel structures

<ns3:p>Steel structures, as a significant part of modern civil engineering, offer numerous opportunities for the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies – ranging from technical optimization and process management to structural health monitoring. This article aims to present and analyze current and potential applications of AI in the domain of steel structures. It provides a classification of selected AI methods, explores their use in the design, analysis, assembly, and monitoring of steel structures, and discusses key challenges along with potential directions for future development.</ns3:p>
