The growing concern with environmental issues highlights the need to address Environmental Education from the early school years, making it essential to promote sustainable reflections and practices in the context of Early Childhood Education. The present work has as its theme “Environmental Education in Early Childhood Education: Paths for its Inclusion and Practice”, seeking to understand how the theme can be effectively inserted into the daily pedagogical routine of educational institutions. The main objective is to analyze strategies and possibilities for the implementation of educational practices that awaken ecological awareness in children, contributing to the formation of responsible habits and attitudes of care for the environment. To this end, a bibliographic methodology was adopted, based on the review of works, articles and official documents related to Environmental Education and Early Childhood Education, with the aim of gathering theoretical reflections and pointing out paths for teaching practice. The results show that, despite the existing challenges, it is possible to promote the integration between theory and practice through playful activities, sustainable educational spaces and partnerships between school, family and community. It is concluded that the inclusion of Environmental Education in Early Childhood Education requires institutional commitment, ongoing teacher training and awareness-raising within the school community, in order to cultivate values of socio-environmental responsibility from early childhood, strengthening the transformative role of education in building a more conscious and sustainable society.
