Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis dengan Pendekatan Problem Based Learning pada Pembelajaran Matematika

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of problem-based learning in terms of improving students' mathematical critical thinking skills. This quantitative research design is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest. This study shows that after the implementation of PBL, there was significant growth in students' critical thinking skills as evidenced by the development of pretest scores of 37.65 to 76.25 in the posttest. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Pairs Test obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (Sig <0.05). Because the Sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05, then Ho is rejected. This shows that the problem-based learning model has an effect on improving students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The ability to think critically with problem-based learning triggers the growth of mathematics learning models in the modern era.
