Structural and chemical investigation of a tridentate fluorescein hydrazone (LH3), a selective Cu2+ and Hg2+ chelator: detection of CN− and HSO4− by its Cu2+ complexes and effect on He
The recognition of Cu 2+ and Hg 2+ ions along with the division of HeLa cells have been made using a fluorescein hydrazone. Its Cu 2+ complexes in turn recognize CN − and HSO 4 − ions.
