Accelerated idioventricular rhythm post primary angioplasty in myocardial infarction: Two sides of the coin
Accelerated Idioventricular Rhythm (AIVR) is a ventricular ectopic rhythm commonly observed during Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), often seen as a marker of successful revascularization. The occurrence of AIVR post-successful primary angioplasty has not been well described in terms of its time course and associated symptoms.
