Stunting remains a persistent public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in rural andsemi-urban communities with low nutritional literacy. This community engagement programwas designed to enhance the role of women in preventing stunting through structured educationon balanced nutrition during the first 1000 days of life. The activity targeted high school-agedgirls and members of local women's organizations, recognizing their strategic position as futuremothers and community influencers. Implemented through interactive seminars, the programadopted a participatory educational approach supported by observational tools, pre- and post-tests, and satisfaction questionnaires. The findings indicate a significant improvement inparticipants' understanding of nutrition-related concepts, demonstrated by a 43.5% increase inaverage post-test scores. Participants expressed high levels of satisfaction with the content, delivery methods, and relevance of the material presented. Moreover, involvement from localstakeholders and organizational partners contributed to the initiative's success. The programraised awareness and encouraged behavioral intentions to promote better nutritional practiceswithin families and communities. These results affirm the importance of empowering youngwomen through community-based education as a preventive strategy against stunting. Theinitiative highlights the potential for scaling similar models in other regions with contextualadaptation and underscores the critical role of collaborative partnerships in achieving long-termpublic health goals.
