Construction of Maoist Cultural Heritage Corridor in Pingxiang City Based on MCR Model

Heritage corridor, as a comprehensive regional heritage preservation method, has gradually become a crucial tool for enhancing the value of heritage utilization and promoting tourism development. However, there is currently a lack of research on the construction of heritage corridors for Maoist Cultural Heritage. This paper employs the Minimum Cumulative Resistance (MCR) model, in conjunction with the ArcGIS 10.8 platform, to construct potential heritage corridors for 84 immovable Maoist cultural relics in Pingxiang City. Additionally, it proposes feasible development recommendations for Maoist cultural tourism in Pingxiang City. The research findings provide a theoretical foundation for the conservation of Pingxiang's Maoist Cultural Heritage and tourism development, as well as a valuable reference for the construction of Maoist Cultural Heritage corridors in Jiangxi Province.
