Preface

The 46th Symposium on Nuclear Physics was celebrated from January 6-9, 2025 at the Hacienda Cocoyoc, Morelos, Mexico.This symposium has been held every year since its inauguration in 1978 with the exception of the COVID years 2021 and 2022.There was a tremendous response from the international community of nuclear physics which led to a very successful and lively meeting.The program consisted of 37 plenary talks and 38 posters over a broad range of hot topics, such as nuclear structure and reactions, fundamental symmetries and hadron physics, facilities, instrumentation and applications.These proceedings contain 22 articles of exciting new results that were presented at the meeting.
