THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EMOTION-FOCUSED THERAPY FOR REDUCING PTSD SYMPTOMS IN MILITARY PERSONNEL: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY.
EFT was found to be a promising intervention for PTSD suffered by military personnel, with major advantages in emotional processing and relationship functioning. However, the presence of emotional barriers, like numbness and avoidance, indicates that further resources could be needed to achieve the best therapeutic results. The study emphasizes the need for tailored approaches to interventions in order to overcome these concerns and improve their effectiveness.
