A flexible and high-sensitivity humidity sensor based on alkalized MXene for respiratory detection

Breathing is an important life activity to maintain human life activities. Monitoring human breathing behavior is a very effective means for medical diagnosis and treatment. The application of humidity sensor in breath detection is a promising detection method, so it is of great significance to construct a flexible and high sensitivity humidity sensor. This paper proposes a highly sensitive humidity sensor fabricated on PI films, which comprises a carbon ink interdigital electrode and NaOH modified MXene humidity-sensitive material. After testing, the sensor has ultra-high sensitivity, ultra-fast reaction speed (1/25 s), comprehensive detection range (11%RH-97%RH), excellent stability, can be adapted to a variety of complex environments. Finally, we applied the sensor to respiratory monitoring, expanded the application range of humidity sensors, and showed great application potential in the field of medical monitoring.
