Pengendalian Persediaan Buah Segar Menggunakan Analisis ABC, Single Period Model dan Periodic Review System
Imam Buah Pati, a fruit store located in Pati Regency, faces challenges related to demand fluctuations that disrupt the control of fruit inventory. Other constraints include limited storage capacity and the reliance on intuition for determining order quantities. Therefore, an analysis of fresh fruit inventory control at Imam Buah Pati is necessary to improve stock management efficiency and minimize waste. This study employs the ABC Analysis, Single Period Model, and Periodic Review System methods. ABC Analysis is used to classify fruits based on their significance in inventory, followed by identifying the top 10 fruit types in category A that contribute the most to sales value over the past 12 months. The Single Period Model and Periodic Review System are applied to determine the optimal order quantities. The Single Period Model is suitable for items with short optimal usage periods, such as fruit, while the Periodic Review System calculates order quantity and review intervals periodically. The results show that, according to the ABC analysis, the ten category A fruit types include red grapes, golden longan, wokam orange, red watermelon, black grapes, Celina pear, Fuji apple 125, Malang apple, sapphire black grapes, and Fuji apple. Furthermore, the calculation results indicate that the Periodic Review System with a six-month review interval yields more optimal ordering decisions than the Single Period Model, which only accounts for the fruit's optimal usage period.
