Greeting From the New President of ASCI
Since its founding in 2007, the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI) has continuously strived to advance the science and practice of cardiovascular imaging, in alignment with the mission outlined in our bylaws.Through our annual congress and various ASCI School programs, we have provided strong academic support to our members-ranging from foundational education to expert-level training across a broad spectrum of topics. As the society has progressed steadily, the need for a dedicated platform to share research findings, expert consensus, and community activities has become increasingly clear. The official journal of ASCI, Cardiovascular Imaging in Asia (CVIA), serves as this essential platform, open to all ASCI members.Since its inaugural issue in January 2017, CVIA has published quarterly issues consistently for the past nine years. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the editorial board, the journal has featured a wide range of academic contributions-including original research articles, guidelines, case reports, and editorials. As the new president of ASCI, I am committed to fully supporting the editorial board in ensuring the continued growth and impact of CVIA.Across our society, a wealth of research is being conducted, yielding valuable insights and advancements.CVIA is the ideal platform for sharing these results with the wider community. It is often said that love unexpressed is not truly love.Likewise, academic work that is not shared cannot fulfill its true purpose.Let us be more enthusiastic and proactive in contributing to ASCI's academic mission-and in publishing the outcomes of our efforts in CVIA.Thank you very much.
