Parámetros bioquímicos, hematológicos, inmunológicos y sus indicadores sociodemográficos, factores de riesgo y comorbilidades en poblaciones vulnerables PostCovid-19
Biochemical, hematological, and immunological parameters are essential elements for assessing people's health, especially in excluded post-COVID-19 populations over 66 years of age, who are more vulnerable to persistent pathophysiological disorders as a result of infection. These parameters appear to be capable of diagnosing metabolic disorders such as dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, hematological disorders such as anemia, and immunological deficiencies with possible consequences from the influence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The objective of the study was to analyze biochemical, hematological, and immunological parameters and their sociodemographic indicators, risk factors, and comorbidities. The methodology applied was analytical, descriptive, and observational in nature. The results revealed that 80% (n=163) of patients had normal glucose levels, while 18% (n=37) showed hyperglycemia. a fairly homogeneous distribution was observed across the localities, except for the Julcuy Parish, which represented 10% in n=20; positive correlations were found with hypertension and cardiovascular disease (p = 0.001). It was concluded that people over 66 years of age predisposed to COVID-19 show a specific pattern of biochemical, hematological, and immunological alterations; the analysis reveals a profile with a predominance of women and low overall educational attainment; the relationship between risk factors and post-COVID comorbidities showed statistically significant associations.
