A Reversible Quantum Photonic Full Adder Gate Using a Unitary Matrix
We present a novel quantum photonic full adder (FA) gate using Clement's decomposition algorithm. A single adder circuit that combines the outputs of the Toffoli and CNOT gates reduces the footprint and enhances the reliability of the integrated photonic chip. The quantum adder gate generates sum <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$(s)$</tex> and carry <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$(c_{out})$</tex> bits using universal multiport interferometers.
