Strong Coupling in Plasmonic Nanocavity Systems

Coupling between transition dipole moment of quantum emitters and plasmonic nanocavities can result in three distinct regimes, each manifest as distinct spectral effects as observed in the scattering spectra: vacuum Rabi splitting in the strong coupling regime, electromagnetic induced transparency in the intermediate coupling regime, and Purcell enhancement in the weak-coupling regime.

Abstract

Coupling between transition dipole moment of quantum emitters and plasmonic nanocavities can result in three distinct regimes, each manifest as distinct spectral effects as observed in the scattering spectra: vacuum Rabi splitting in the strong coupling regime, electromagnetic induced transparency in the intermediate coupling regime, and Purcell enhancement in the weak-coupling regime.
