Hemodynamic Behaviour of Magnetohydrodynamic Jeffrey Fluid with a Constricted Narrow Channel
Hemodynamic behaviour of Magnetohydrodynamic flow of Jeffrey fluid with a constricted narrow channel is considered in this paper. The assumption is that the central area contains Jeffrey fluid and the periphery has Newtonian fluid. Considering the movement to be steady and stenosis to be mild, the governing equations have been calculated and the flow variables such as velocities, flow flux, mean haematocrit, core haematocrit, effective viscosity have been given analytical expressions, and the influence of several pertinent variables on the variable quantity have been investigated. With increasing magnetic parameter, stenosis height, and channel width, the effective viscosity growths but decreasing with Jeffrey parameter. In addition, the core haematocrit increases with the magnetic parameter, Jeffrey parameter, channel width, and stenosis height. The mean haematocrit arose as Jeffrey parameter, channel width, and stenosis height. The results obtained in the paper agrees with those of several papers available in the literature and proves the impact of anomalous Fahraeus-Lindqvist effect in the flow.
