Performance Analysis of Semi-Transparent Pvttec Solar Air Collector Integrated with an Absorber Plate Under Different Climatic Conditions

This study analyses semitransparent Photovoltaic thermoelectric-cooling solar air collectors (PVT-TEC-SAC) with an absorber plate under varying weather conditions in New Delhi using MATLAB 2024 to measure temperatures of components of the SAC, such as the solar cell, the top and bottom sides of the TEC, the absorber plate, and the outlet fluid temperature. The PVT-TEC-SAC was analysed in March based on total electrical energy, electrical efficiency, and equivalent thermal energy. According to this study, type <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$b$</tex> has the highest electrical energy of 64.64 W and equivalent thermal energy of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$301.56 ~\mathrm{W} / \mathrm{h}$</tex>, compared to Types <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$a, c$</tex>, and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$d$</tex>, having clearer weather, absorbing and using more sunlight effectively.
