The article is devoted to the consideration of the activities and plans of the Chinese leadership to adjust the approaches of the Chinese leadership to the organization of the border service in modern conditions. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of changes in the organizational structure, functions and tasks of the headquarters of the border guard department of the Ministry of Public Security of China.
