EFFICIENCY OF MANAGING THE ECONOMIC DETERMINANT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF ENTERPRISES DURING THE SANCTIONS PERIOD
The article proposes a methodology for assessing management decisions made regarding the economic determinant of sustainable development from the standpoint of consistency and prolongation of their results. The economic component is largely key to the sustainable development of an enterprise, since its state determines the possibilities for the full implementation of "sustainable" principles in economic activity, development of the social and environmental spheres. The assessed efficiency of the dynamics and the degree of volatility of the values of economic sustainability indicators in aggregate allow us to characterize the distance covered by the enterprise under the influence of the management decisions made over a certain period and the result of which is the achieved qualitative level of sustainability or instability. The systemic nature of management decisions, the prolongation of their consequences and effects have a direct impact on the possibilities of ensuring sustainable development. Accordingly, the absence or insufficient consistency and prolongation of decisions poses a danger to sustainable development. The practical significance of such an assessment is proven using the example of clothing manufacturing enterprises. It is shown that even before the aggravation of the problems of carrying out economic activity as a result of the sanctions pressure on the economy, the management decisions of enterprises were not characterized by a high degree of consistency and prolongation. The deterioration of the situation in the last three years is a direct consequence of unsatisfactory management decisions taken before this period and which could not have a delayed effect. Current decisions also did not allow to smooth out or neutralize threats emanating from the external environment. Systematic assessment of economic sustainability with identification of the effectiveness of management decisions can contribute to compliance with the principles of their continuity and variability.
