Synergizing Art and AI-Driven VR: A Tripartite Model for Enhancing Cultural Dissemination and Economic Sustainability in Ice-Snow Tourism

AI-powered innovations are fundamentally reshaping ice-snow tourism ecosystems, with smart destination management and hyper-personalized services redefining industry benchmarks. In this study, influence of AI-VR Artistic experience in this sector is investigated and ‘Art-Technology-Economy’ (ART-TECH-ECON) synergy model is introduced to examine how it can promote the spread of art to foster the desire for tourism consumption and generate economy contribution. A controlled experiment was carried out to collect data from cultural knowledge tests, consumption intention surveys, and qualitative thematic analysis for this study, and the results show that throughout social cognition and cultural identity, immersion, display innovativeness, interest enhancement and recommendation intention, the experimental group outperforms the control group by more than 13%. Furthermore, the additional tourist consumption willingness was about 11.5%, proving the practicability of the model to attract tourists and benefit the destination economic development. This research provides empirical support for the integration of AI and VR based on ice and snow tourism, and provides practical implications for digital transformation in the industry and the research of digital technologies in traditional tourism.
