Pricing and service decisions for fashion product cross-border e-commerce supply chain
The relationship between cross-border e-commerce(CBEC) retailers and third-party overseas warehouses significantly impacts the pricing strategies and logistics service levels of these warehouses within the CBEC supply chain. This paper investigates a two-tier supply chain model comprising logistics providers and CBEC retailers that supply fashion products within a constrained timeframe. From the dual perspectives of Stackelberg leader-follower game and cooperative game, this paper studies the strategic interaction between retailers and logistics service providers in terms of logistics service quality optimization and price mechanism design in the CBEC environment. The findings indicate that effective pricing strategies can significantly enhance the market competitiveness of CBEC and improve consumers’ shopping experiences. Furthermore, the improvement of logistics service quality and the dynamic adaptation of the price system have promoted the symbiotic development of interests between warehousing service providers and retailers in cross-border supply chains. This study offers a novel perspective and theoretical foundation for the field of CBEC, contributing to a deeper understanding of the operational models and pricing strategies of overseas warehouses.
