Simulation experiment of automatic assembly equipment for fingertip gyro based on MCD
Aiming at the difficulties of cycle redundancy, cost overruns, and safety risks that commonly exist in the physical commissioning of intelligent manufacturing equipment, this study proposes a framework for electromechanical co-development based on digital twin technology. Taking the fingertip gyro automatic assembly system as the research object, a digital verification platform integrating MCD mechatronic modelling, PLCSIM advanced virtual control and TIA Portal human-computer interaction is constructed. Based on the NX MCD platform, an electromechanical object model covering elements such as rigid bodies, collision bodies and transmission surfaces is constructed, and accurate modelling of the digital twin of the device is achieved by defining the motion vice, constraints and sensing actuators. The real-time data interaction mechanism between the virtual model and the PLC control program is innovatively established, the communication interface between the virtual and real systems is developed based on the OPC UA protocol, and the human-machine collaborative control loop is constructed through the virtual human-machine interface, which completes the full-working condition simulation and verification of the assembly process. The experimental results show that the virtual debugging system can accurately reproduce the equipment assembly logic, which provides the basis for the subsequent prototype trial production. In addition, it provides a digital solution to shorten the development cycle of complex electromechanical systems.
