Key Features of AI: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Image Processing. AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and more have made it possible to create advanced IoT applications. From predictive maintenance and autonomous decision-making to real-time data analytics, these applications have disrupted traditional industries and spawned new business models. AI in Manufacturing. For example, in manufacturing, AI is being used for predictive maintenance and quality control, which minimizes equipment downtime and improvements in product quality. In the medical field, AI-empowered IoT devices provide remote patient monitoring and predictive analysis, enhancing patient care and enhancing medical outcomes. In retail, IoT devices that use AI offer personalized recommendations and intelligent inventory management, improving customer experiences while making stores more efficient. While AI and the Internet of Things (IoT) present powerful opportunities in terms of their applications, the industry also has its challenges, especially in terms of talent demand. There is a rising demand for AI and IoT professionals in the integration of IoT systems with AI. There is, however, a significant skills gap, as many organizations face difficulties in finding candidates with the necessary interdisciplinary expertise. This skills gap mean therefore lead to project implementation time delays and added costs, preventing the realization of the full potential of AI that powers IoT applications. The findings of this study not only highlight the key trends of AI influence on IoT but also assist major stakeholders including educators, practitioners and students to develop matching strategies to adapt to the transformations brought by the AI technologies in the specific context of the IoT. As AI and IoT continue to evolve and converge, their potential for creating impactful and transformative solutions will only grow.
