Research on cultural landscape of the Marine ceramic road based on big data technology
From the perspectives of ceramic culture, social geography, maritime history, archaeology, and regional studies, this paper examines the historical trajectory of the establishment, development, and eventual decline of the Maritime Ceramic Road, focusing on the ports of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau. This research considers these ports as an important cluster along the maritime silk route. Utilizing big data technology, the study conducts cultural landscape data mining of existing records from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The collected data takes into account shipwrecks, archaeological sites, artifacts, maritime routes, and maritime history, allowing for vertical and horizontal comparative classifications. This analysis delves into the cultural landscape characteristics and values of port clusters related to the ceramic road, revealing the interactions between the maritime ceramic road and cultural integration indicators. The study aims to provide insights for the “Belt and Road” initiative and the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, offering new research perspectives and methods for interdisciplinary academic analysis.
