Demand Analysis of Smart Home for the Elderly Based on KANO Model in the Context of Digital Economy
This study aims to understand the personalized needs of urban seniors for smart homes in home situations, covering five dimensions: monitoring of body physiological indicators, hazard monitoring, physical environment regulation, assisted living health care and entertainment. Through literature analysis and sample research, the actual needs of the elderly in the home environment are sorted out, and a KANO model is constructed using field interviews and feedback assessment methods to categorize and validate the demand items. The study categorizes the needs into essential, desired and charismatic, and ranks the need items through the satisfaction coefficient. The results show that the needs of the elderly in the field of smart home health are developing in the direction of familialization and service-oriented, in which daily life care, mental comfort, chronic disease prevention, information visualization and emotional communication become the key areas that need to be improved. This study clarifies the demand priorities through Kano model analysis, which provides an important reference basis for smart home design.
