Research on optimization of Guangdong sericulture industry chain driven by artificial intelligence

This study is dedicated to studying the application of artificial intelligence in the silk industry in Guangdong Province, evaluating its role in production efficiency, cost control, logistics process improvement, market demand data forecasting and inventory control, collecting and interpreting data from six representative sericulture companies in the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong, integrating intelligent breeding monitoring systems, logistics allocation platforms, demand estimation methods and AI-assisted inventory control systems, and studying the actual effectiveness of artificial intelligence in improving the industrial chain. The analysis results show that the use of artificial intelligence technology has significantly improved the annual output and quality of silk cocoons, reduced the production cost input-to-amount ratio, improved the timeliness and economy of logistics distribution, and improved the accuracy of market demand forecasting. After the inventory management system was upgraded, the inventory holding cost was significantly reduced, and the inventory turnover rate was improved. Inheriting these achievements, it is finally concluded that artificial intelligence technology has greatly promoted the efficiency enhancement and cost reduction of Guangdong's silk industry, providing key impetus for the intelligent and green transformation of the industry.
