Spatial Distribution and Influencing Factors of Art Toy Enterprises in Dongguan: An Analysis Based on Geographic Big Data
Dongguan is a key city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Studying the spatial distribution and influencing factors of its art toy enterprises can help foster industry clustering and drive the high-quality development of Dongguan's art toy sector. In the present work, methods such as kernel density, hotspot analysis, and the Multiscale Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR) model are employed to examine the spatial distribution, agglomeration patterns, and key influencing factors of art toy enterprises in Dongguan. Art toy enterprises in Dongguan are primarily concentrated near major roads or intersections, especially in the central urban areas and economically developed towns in the southwest. This results in the formation of three high-concentration zones, exhibiting both agglomeration and diffusion patterns. The density of financial services and industrial areas shows significant spatial variation in relation to the distribution of art toy enterprises, with financial services having a stronger impact. The density of dining facilities, however, shows limited spatial variation but has a notable positive impact on the location of art toy enterprises. In contrast, the density of cultural and creative industry parks and public cultural facilities remains relatively stable spatially and has a weaker influence.
