Data-Driven Analysis of RCEP's Mediating Role in Cross Border E-Commerce Trade Facilitation: A Machine Learning Approach
The RCEP officially came into effect in China in 2021, promoting trade between countries in the region and providing new opportunities for the development of cross border e-commerce (CBEC) in China. This article takes the signing of the RCEP agreement as the background and explores in depth the intermediary effect of RCEP in Chinese CBEC trade facilitation. It is found that RCEP plays a fully mediating role in the impact of logistics environment on CBEC trade facilitation. At the same time, factors such as payment environment, legal environment, customs clearance environment, policy environment and regulatory environment have also had an impact on the facilitation of CBEC trade, among which RCEP also plays mediating role. This finding provides strong evidence for a deeper understanding of the role of RCEP in facilitating CBEC trade.
