SURVEY OF STUDENT UNDERSTANDING OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AT UIN ALAUDDIN MAKASSAR

Sexual violence is an issue that receives significant public attention in the news media and social media. One of the main impacts of sexual violence is mental health problems. Sexual violence can have serious physical impacts in addition to mental health problems. The aim of the research is to determine the level of students' understanding of sexual violence at UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research design is quantitative with descriptive methods. The data collection method uses a questionnaire in the form of a Google form. The sample research used quota sampling and resulted in 160 student respondents from UIN Alauddin Makassar. The research results showed that students' understanding of sexual violence at UIN Alauddin Makassar was in the fairly good category and was influenced by several factors such as gender, age, faculty, class and information media. This research can help in developing education and awareness programs about sexual violence among students.
