Interaction Problem Based Learning of AI Assisted on Digital Literacy and Critical Thinking Abilities

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by AI-based media in teaching the human circulatory system, particularly in enhancing the digital literacy and critical thinking skills of 5th-grade students at SD Negeri Sentul 02. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design. A total of 22 students were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and tests specifically designed to assess students’ digital literacy and critical thinking abilities. Data analysis involved multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity checks. The model was further tested using partial t-tests and a simultaneous F-test. The results showed that the PBL model supported by AI media had a significant partial impact on both digital literacy and critical thinking. The F-test yielded a significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05), with a coefficient of determination indicating that 50% of the variance in both digital literacy and critical thinking skills could be explained by the model. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model supported by AI media is effective in improving digital literacy and critical thinking skills of 5th-grade students at UPT SD Negeri Sentul 02, Blitar City
