Analysis of UI Design Elements in Unmanned Instant Photo Studio Interface

This study aims to analyze the user interface (UI) design of unmanned instant photo booths and propose optimization measures. With the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT), unmanned instant photo booths have been gaining increasing popularity, especially among the younger generation. As a result, various brands have emerged.Among them, the visual UI design, which serves as the core interface between users and the device, plays a crucial role in user experience. Therefore, this study focuses on the visual elements of the interface design in unmanned instant photo booths, selecting four top-ranked brands in the South Korean market (Insaeng Ne Cut, Photo Signature, Photo Gray, and Haru Film) for analysis. The study examines four UI design elements: color, layout, graphics, and typography. The introduction outlines the background and objectives of the study, as well as the research methods and scope of the study.Chapter 2, Theoretical Background, explores the concept and development of unmanned photo booths, the history and current state of UI design, and an analysis of visual UI design elements.Chapter 3, Case Analysis, analyzes the visual elements of six interfaces from the four brands and derives the unique UI design characteristics of each brand. The findings reveal that while each brand's UI design has distinct characteristics and strengths, there are also areas that rewuire improvement.Based on this, the study proposes optimization measures to enhance the user interface (UI) design of each brand. This research aims to analyze the user interface (UI) design of unmanned instant photo studios and propose practical design guidelines based on the results to contribute to the future development of UI design.
