Mathematical model of rolling on the irregularities of the elastic wheel bearing base based on a discrete set of contact elements

There are different approaches to modeling the interaction of a wheel with a support base. At the same time, there are various contradictions that need to be resolved to build an adequate model. The purpose of the work is to create a mathematical model of non-stationary curvilinear motion of an elastic wheel along the field of unevenness of the supporting base based on a discrete set of elastic inertia-free contact elements (brush type), providing high modeling accuracy with low complexity of computational operations. Computational studies of a wheeled vehicle were carried out in order to verify the resulting mathematical model. Movement along routes of various profiles is considered — scarp, ascent and descent and a sharp descent on one side. The values of the main parameters of interaction between the wheel and the supporting base were assessed. Keywords mathematical model, wheeled vehicle, brush model, non-deformable sub structure
