Development of virtual key control system through Fuzzy-based EEG analysis and activation in BCI environment
Electroencephalography (EEG) is a non-invasive technique that measures the brain's electrical activity via electrodes placed on the scalp. This technology is widely utilized in health care, neurofeedback, emotional ICT, and neuromarketing. A critical aspect of EEG-based BrainComputer Interface (BCI) systems is the extraction of stable and high-level brain signal features. This paper presents a study employing fuzzy logic in a BCI environment to measure, classify, and quantify EEG signals. Based on this approach, a system was developed that analyzes and activates EEG signals to control devices through virtual key input. The proposed system enables EEG-based user interaction with mobile devices via a virtual keypad. The results suggest that BCI control services can be expanded to various industrial applications through continuous development and service enhancement.
