Jordan-Schwinger Phase-Space Approach to Self-Induced Transparency Solitons

We develop a numerical method for simulating self-induced transparency solitons in open quantum systems using the Schwinger boson representation, positive P , and truncated Wigner approximations. Benchmarking against positive P helps assessing the accuracy limits of truncated Wigner.

Abstract

We develop a numerical method for simulating self-induced transparency solitons in open quantum systems using the Schwinger boson representation, positive P , and truncated Wigner approximations. Benchmarking against positive P helps assessing the accuracy limits of truncated Wigner.
