Unlocking a New Nuclear Spin Memory Resource in 171Yb:YVO4
We simulate the interactions between the ytterbium qubit and its nearest-neighbor vanadium nuclear spins in 171 Yb:YVO4. Future control techniques will extend coherence times and introduce a new memory resource for quantum networks.
