Light-field microscope using entangled photons

We demonstrate a quantum light-field microscope (LFM) that utilizes position-momentum entangled photons to simultaneously capture both their position and momentum information. We demonstrate 3D microscopy that has a resolving power of 5µm while maintaining a depth of field of 500µm, approximately 3 times of the best classical LFM designs.

Abstract

We demonstrate a quantum light-field microscope (LFM) that utilizes position-momentum entangled photons to simultaneously capture both their position and momentum information. We demonstrate 3D microscopy that has a resolving power of 5µm while maintaining a depth of field of 500µm, approximately 3 times of the best classical LFM designs.
