High-speed Heterodyne-based Quantum Random Number Generator on a Chip

This study presents the first on-chip source-device independent QRNG, achieving a secure generation rate over 20 Gbps. The chip is custom-designed to reduce complexity while providing practical solutions for high-performance, portable, and space-based quantum applications.
